This is my favorite picture of Rick Wright from one of the best songs the band ever created - Echoes. From his unconventional chord changes on Breathe, stellar piano work on Another Great Gig In The Sky, to his haunting backup vocals with David Gilmour, Wright was nothing short of a legend.With his passing, music lost a true innovator. Personally, I would equate this loss to what perhaps people might have felt when Beethoven left this world. R.I.P Rick. Your keyboard will keep you alive.
